CES 2013: Acer Iconia B1 slate finally receives an official price tag; arriving in January

Consumer Electronics Show is still on in Las Vegas, and we have finally got to see the affordable and highly anticipated Acer Iconia B1.  Of course, the tablet is aimed at the emerging market.

The Iconia B1 therefore becomes one of the cheapest Android slates from a manufacturer that you really know about. In addition today, we at last learned how much exactly the device will be priced at, as well as when we could anticipate it to hit the market.

Users in Europe can lay their hands on Acer Iconia B1 for mere €119. That is approximately $155 by today exchange rate, which is only a bit more than the below $150 price tag reported earlier. The slate is also anticipated to hit the market in the Middle East & Africa. If everything happens as planned, the Iconia B1 could be launched in the mid January. We want it to release as soon as possible.

For users who require a refresher, the Acer Iconia B1 is a 7inches Android v4.1 slate with a 1024 x 600 pixels screen, 512MB of RAM, & a 1.2GHz dual core central processing unit. From a technical stand point, it is fairly inferior to its close rivals, like the Google Nexus 7, though makes up for that by coming considerably cheaper. And this tablet would be way better than buying a Chinese product.

So guys, what do you think about the new affordable tablet from Acer? Let us know through the comments section given below.
